Why this works
A ring is short and distinct, which is the kind of sound Remove handles best. Turn detection on so it only works the moments the phone is actually ringing and leaves the rest of the take alone.
Why the usual fixes fall short
Muting that second takes the sentence with it, and a normal noise remover won't catch a short beep at all.
Honest heads-up
A full ringtone is easier to catch than a short beep. If a ring lands on exactly the same moment as a word, that word can thin out. If "phone ringing" misses a notification, try "notification sound" instead.
